Job Description:
Our client based in Uxbridge are looking for an experienced QS to take full commercial ownership of large-scale structural steelwork.
Operating from tender stage through to final account resolution, the successful candidate will manage contracts, maximize profitability, mitigate risk.
This role bridges workshop fabrication processes with complex on-site erection logistics.
Industry Experience
Steel Sector Expertise:
Minimum 5 years of experience working specifically for a structural steelwork fabricator, specialist steel contractor, or a major sub-contractor.
Fabrication & Erection Knowledge:
Thorough technical understanding of the steel life cycle: raw procurement, workshop fabrication processes (CNC cutting, welding, assembly), QA/QC requirements (CE/UKCA marking), surface treatments, and site craneage/erection logistics.
